Share the love

Share the Love is my way of being the change I want to see in the world and giving back for the many blessings that I have received.

The main goal in all my work is to spread joy and help people feel good about themselves.  I want to help create a world that embraces kindness and compassion, that recognizes and appreciates everybody.  We are all beautiful and I want everyone to be able to experience the empowering and uplifting feelings that a portrait session can provide regardless of their ability to pay. I offer many free events throughout the year at different locations, check out my facebook page for updates.

Finding Joy

What is Joy?

" The emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires:  a state of happiness or felicity :  a source or cause of delight." -Merriam-Webster

Finding Joy is a project I'm working working on that explores Joy, in particularly how its manifested after trauma. This project looks at what joy means to different people, how they experience it and how they sustain it.

Participants are interviewed and asked to provide written answers to 3 questions, in addition to being photographed for a fine art portrait that is inspired by their story and designed to document their expression of joy.
