Weeks 13 - 17 Creating and Kindness Project

So I've accepted the fact that despite my good intentions at the beginning of the year, I suck at posting regularly on social media. Since I'm having such a struggle posting every week I've decided to post a summary once a month. I seem to struggle with commitment so time will tell if I can keep that up. The good news is I am still committed working on this project and I'm still creating and practicing kindness every week.

Create

For the month of April I was prepping for an art installation at Art on the Trail. A group of friends and I teamed up to create an interactive photo station with props made from items found in nature. If your interested in seeing our project it is on the west end of the Gibraltar Rock trail up from the parking lot off of Hwy J. Be sure to share your photos using the hashtag #artonthetraillodia! You can find the map to all the projects at https://www.artontheiceagetrail.org/about-1

I also participated in a local photography show called "Stories" at the Sequoya library. The top photo was my contribution.

Kindness Week 13 -17

My April acts of kindness included:

- Being kind to people who are not acting kindly.

- Donating the last of my stable stuff from my horse boarding days to a therapeutic riding center.

- Saying no to plastic bags.

- Volunteering at a charity fundraising event.

- Picking up litter while hiking.
