Weeks 18 - 21 Project Kindness and Create

May flew by and now it's June already? How did that happen? after what seemed alike a really long winter I think summer is finally here and my creative juices are flowing again! I have a few projects I'm working on over the next few months that I look forward to sharing soon.

May was filled with lots of creativity, mostly around photography. I was able to finally put together a stylized shoot that I've been working on since last fall. I shot a wedding and I did 10 days of Nature photography during a road trip around Lake superior. All in all it was a great month for creating. ( I'll be sharing a sneak peek of the stylized shoot in a separate post)

For my project kindness I did the following:

- Take my own bags to the grocery store, including bags for produce.

- Say no to plastic bags in general, its amazing how many places want to give you a bag when you buy just one item. If you really want to make an environmental impact, forget the straws, say no to plastic bags!

- Be kind to service workers. I try to make a point to be extra nice to people who are working in a service position. I know they put up with a lot of unhappy people and they don't get paid great and yet we all need them so I make a point to be kind in my interactions with them and thank them for their help.

- Plant based meals, I'm trying to make a point to eat more plant based meals so each month I work on this one a little more. It's kinder for the animals, kinder for the environment and kinder for our bodies.
