Week 7 and 8 of Creating and Kindness

Week 7
For my create project this week I continued working on this crackle painting. It has a long way to go but I keep chipping away on it when I have a few free minutes. It's a slow process because it needs to dry thoroughly in between each layer of paint which frustrates me sometimes because I tend to be a tad bit impatient.
For my act of kindness this week I made time to visit a friend that was having a hard time. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do for someone is to make time to just sit with them, listen and tell them they are not crazy. We all need that from time to time and I'm happy to be that person for my friends and family when I can.
Week 8
For my act of kindness this week I made a point to tell a few people in my life how much I appreciate them.
This week was a complete failure when it came to creating. I had a crazy busy week being pulled in a million different directions and I just couldn't find the time or energy to create anything. I suppose when life gets crazy like this is when I really need to make time to create. It helps me work thorough my problems and calms my mind but this week it just felt like one more thing I HAD to do and it felt overwhelming. So this week I take a break and rest and next week will be better and I'll get back to work. ( My project 52 will just have to be adjusted to a project 51 :)
